On year 2015 we hosted BicSUP Lake Como Adventure directed by Jodelle Fitzwater Certified PaddleFit Instructor, BIC SUP Fitness Ambassador.
Jodelle Fitzwater along with Michele Gandola, owner of Bellagio Watersports, managed this intense day of showcasing and training with different Paddlefit Certified Instructors coming from different parts of Europe.

Terms of SUP Boards Renting:
SUP boards will be available in the morning and late afternoon to get best of both sun exposure and temperature conditions.
All boards paddles will be supplied along with safety string and all participants will receive our standard safety equipment.

SUP, Stand up paddle surfing, is a surface water sport, a variant of surfing where the surfer uses a paddle to move through the water while standing on a surfboard.
Stand up paddle surfing is a derivation from Polynesian tradition.
In Hawaiaan language is defined as: to stand, to paddle, to surf, a wave.
The popularity of the modern sport of SUP has its origination in the Hawaiian Islands and grew when Hawaiian surfers started SUP as an alternative way to train.
SUP provides an intense workout on many sides.
Balance and strength will be used in order to remain stable on the board. Leg muscles will be used for this balance maintenance as abdominal part too.
Paddling will exercise your upper part muscles, intensity will depend on the state of water, more waves will mean more force appplied.
This low impact exercise will give immediate benefits to the paddler in a very short time.
As any sport low impact exercise all your body will get benefits and the experience on water will relief from stress, tensions giving also a mental benefit which could be furthermore improved trying yoga or exercises sessions on the board.
